Volunteers are Still Wanted !
The Four Communities Fire Department is an all volunteer, Fire Rescue, non-profit corporation, that provides prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery services to the residents and business in the areas of Sharpes, Cocoa, Frontenac and Port St John on the Space Coast of Florida..
We have been serving our community since 1951 and are currently contracted by Brevard County Fire Rescue as first due responders in our north central Brevard County run area.
We are also proud to support local youth programs, including the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of American.

We sincerely appreciate all those who have already returned your donation envelopes. We desparately need your tax-deductible contributions to continue to provide our community with unsurpassed volunteer fire-rescue services.

2007 was another good year. We were fortunate that the over-all number of wildland/brush fires are down, and the number of structure fires has also decreased. The Four Communities Fire Department volunteers continue to improve the level of service that we provide through new and additional training, as well as preparedness and public education activities.
Membership is growing, and we have some outstanding new Firefighter Candidates, but we still need more! Volunteer Firefighters are provided with the training and equipment they need to perform their duties, and many go on to very successful careers in firefighting.
We are ALWAYS looking for new volunteers.
We not only need new Volunteer Firefighters, but we are looking for people interested in joining as Support Members.
These critical support volunteers keep our fire department going, from administrative functions, to fund raising, to station maintenance, to public education.
Please take the time to show your support for the volunteer firefighters, that save the community more than $250,000 in tax dollars every year, just in our local service area.
"Greater love hath no man than this,
that a man lay down his life for his friends."
- The Book of John: Chapter 15:13
We join in remembering and honoring the memory of the brave men and women who
have made the ultimate sacrifice.

A brief word about local Firefighter Fundraising:
Please be aware that the Space Coast Firefighters Association does not provide support to this, or any other volunteer department in this county. Brevard County Fire Rescue, and almost every municipal department in Brevard have advised that this group does not provide any support or benefits to their department or their members, regardless of what their telemarketers claim on the phone.
For details on our Department's fundraising and what we've learned about the unscrupulous telemarketers, please visit our Fundraising Page.
This Web Site is under construction. Please come back and watch us grow.
