FCFD Rescues Celebrity

An nationally renown restaurateur was tied to a billboard on US Highway 1. FCFD Volunteers worked with BCSO to rescue this celebrity, who prefers to rename nameless. The assailants are still at large.

During the height of Hurricane Jeanne, Corky Bell's Restaurant suffered a complete loss. Despite the 3 minute response time of the FCFD Volunteers, the 60 mph winds had already fanned the flames to completely involve the structure. Our volunteers bravely fought the fire through the storm, and kept the wind-driven flames from spreading to neighboring structures and woods.
