Thank you for paying us a visit! Troop 355 resides in Sharpes, FL and is chartered by the Four Communities Volunteer Fire Department. Our unit consists of boys ranging from new scouts to those working on their Eagle Project, and has been in existence for over 35 years.

Boys and parents, be sure to check out the Troop Events link for a list of Troop events coming up. As we begin a new year, 2010 promises to bring more fun with campouts, merit badge workshops and summer camp.

Speaking of Summer Camp, this year we are going to Camp La Noche! As many of you know, the Troop must have records of physicals for each scout. This year, every scout in the Troop must renew their medical information by getting a new physical and providing us with a copy of your medical insurance card. To that end, as we prepare for summer camp, please download the enclosed BSA Physical Form and return it as soon as possible.

For those of you concentrating on Merit badges (and who isn't, right?) the Orlando Science Center is providing opportunities for all scouts that are interested to participate in day long Merit Badge Workshops! For more information on more than half a dozen different badges, incuding Electricity, Archeology, and Aviation, contact the Orlando Science Center at 407-514-2112. Also, check out this flyer for more details.

Want to do Merit badges but can't make it to Orlando? Well, you're in luck because right here in our own county, down about Melbourne way (did I say that?) is Merit Badge University on the Florida Institute of Technology campus. It's all happening February 13th. How about badges in Scuba Diving, Environmental Sciences, and Law just to name a few! Check out the details right here. Be there or be anything BUT cool!
